Palladium-Catalysed Direct Arylation using Free-Amine-Substituted Polyfluoroanilines with Inhibition of Amination-Type Reaction

Abstract

The palladium-catalyzed C-C bond formation via direct arylation of free-amine-substituted polyfluoroaniline derivs. proceeds in moderate to high yields with a variety of aryl bromides. The nature of the base was found to be crucial to promote the direct arylation with inhibition of the amination reaction.
