A repeated 1 multi-criteria decision problem is a choice
problem that occurs frequently, regarding always the same
kind of alternatives, but with di↵erent actors and context.
Examples of such problems are the choice of a car, or a
wheelchair, or studies continuation. In those problems, the
alternatives are described by a set of attributes that remain
fix; each new decision case includes information about the
actors of the decision, the context, the environment, and the
values of constraints and importance of criteria. This paper identifies two kinds of decision criteria and proposes a
specific local structure of a Bayesian network for each of
1. Since this problem seems never to be addressed in the literature,
there is no usual term to define it. In previous papers[8], we proposed the
term recurrent multi-criteria decision problem; further to several remarks,
we prefer now the term repeated, despite it is mostly used to refer to
decision problems where a decision maker has to deal several times with
the same kind of decision
them. The obtained Bayesian network obtained for a repeated multi-criteria decision problem can be used for any
decision case. First, it allows the evaluation of an alternative according to the criteria and the decision case. Second,
it provides guidance about the attributes of alternatives that
best suit to the decision case characteristics.
