Résumé

We have derived a new Young’s formula for the polarization-averaged molecular frame photoelectron angular distributions (PA-MFPADs), as a bond length ruler for dissociating hetero-diatomic molecules. The relative errors against numerical results were within 5 %. © 2022 The Author(s).
