A proper description of the temperature dependence of the line-shape parameters is important for the spectroscopic studies of both terrestrial and extraterrestrial atmospheres. Such studies, however, require reference datasets storing the parameters and their temperature-dependences for various transitions of a given molecular system.My talk will be devoted to a comprehensive dataset of the beyond-Voigt spectral line-shape parameters for H2 perturbed by He and its experimental validation with accurate CRDS spectra. I will also present the methodology of populating line-by-line spectroscopic databases with beyond-Voigt line-shape parameters1, based on ab initio quantum scattering calculations.
