The photocatalytic system is based on a single NHC-Rh complex capable of both harvesting visible light and enabling the bond breaking/forming at room temperature. The chelating nature of the NHC-carboxylate ligand was critical to ensure the stability of the Rh complex and to provide excellent photocatalytic activities. Experimental mechanistic studies evidenced a photooxidative ortho C-H bond addition upon irradiation with blue LEDs, leading to a cyclometalated Rh -hydride intermediate. %G English %2 https://univ-rennes.hal.science/hal-02307077/document %2 https://univ-rennes.hal.science/hal-02307077/file/Basl%C3%A9%20et%20al-Visible%20Light%20Induced%20Rhodium%28I%29-Catalyzed%20Directed%20C-H%20Borylation-4.pdf %L hal-02307077 %U https://univ-rennes.hal.science/hal-02307077 %~ IRD %~ UNIV-TLSE3 %~ UNIV-RENNES1 %~ CNRS %~ INSA-RENNES %~ ENSC-RENNES %~ ISCR %~ SCR_OMC2012 %~ SCR-COS %~ ISCR-OMC %~ LCC %~ STATS-UR1 %~ UR1-SPM %~ ISCR-PRATS %~ INC-CNRS %~ UR1-UFR-SPM %~ UR1-HAL %~ ISCR-CORINT %~ UR1-SDLM %~ TEST-UR-CSS %~ UNIV-RENNES %~ INSA-GROUPE %~ ISCR-CORINT1 %~ TEST-HALCNRS %~ ANR %~ UR1-MMS %~ ISCR-CORINT3 %~ TOULOUSE-INP %~ UNIV-UT3 %~ UT3-INP %~ UT3-TOULOUSEINP %~ TEST2-HALCNRS
