With larger resources devoted to localization, we achieve a lower beam-selection error due to accurate position information, although the resulting limitation in communication resources reduces the user data rate. Conversely, to obtain a better rate performance the system needs to increase the allocation for communication, consequently increasing the probability of beam selection error.
