The proposed array overcomes the scanning and bandwidth limitations of Van Atta arrays based on resonant elements for WPT applications. The proposed array consists of four slots with eight input ports, resulting in 32 access points. The Van Atta scheme is implemented by connecting pairs of input ports with coaxial cables. Measurements validate the design at a center frequency of 5.8 GHz. Monostatic RCS measurements show that the array has a -10 dB beamwidth of about 118 degrees in the E-plane.
