In the solid state, 2a and 4a are monomeric with the pyrrolide-imino-amine adopting a mer-configuration. Upon activation with methylaluminoxane (MAO), all Zr(IV) precatalysts were active in ethylene polymerization and exhibited high thermal stability operating effectively at 100 degrees C with activities up to 453 kg(PE) mol[Zr](-1) h(-1). The high-density polyethylenes produced are strictly linear with melting temperatures in the range of 134-136 degrees C, and crystallinities varying from 56% to 70%. %G English %2 https://univ-rennes.hal.science/hal-01709533/document %2 https://univ-rennes.hal.science/hal-01709533/file/Synthesis%20and%20structural%20characterization%20of%20zirconium%20complexes_revised.pdf %L hal-01709533 %U https://univ-rennes.hal.science/hal-01709533 %~ UNIV-RENNES1 %~ CNRS %~ INSA-RENNES %~ ENSC-RENNES %~ ISCR %~ SCR-CD %~ SCR_OMC2012 %~ ISCR-OMC %~ STATS-UR1 %~ UR1-SPM %~ ISCR-PRATS %~ INC-CNRS %~ UR1-UFR-SPM %~ UR1-HAL %~ UR1-SDLM %~ TEST-UNIV-RENNES %~ TEST-UR-CSS %~ UNIV-RENNES %~ INSA-GROUPE %~ TEST-HALCNRS %~ UR1-MMS %~ TEST2-HALCNRS
