Estimating K-factor and Time Spread Parameters from a Transient Response of a Pulse Modulated Sine Wave in Reverberation Chamber
Résumé
A statistical model based on the power profile of the transient response of a reverberation chamber is proposed in order to extract K-factor and different time parameters. K-factor is described as a function of time moments and the normalized level of the power of the signal envelope. Analytical relations for the mean delay spread and the root mean square delay spread rms are computed. The average absorbing cross section of the loading materials is also estimated with regard to K-factor. Simulations and measurements validate and show the utility of this method.
