Electroactive films of poly(tetraphenylporphyrins) with reduced bandgap

Résumé

Abstract The anodic oxidation of tetraphenylporphyrins (ZnTPP and H2TPP) in CH2Cl2 + Bu4NPF6 (0.2 M) leads to the coverage of the electrode by insoluble electroactive deposits. These new films possess interesting electrochemical behaviour with a low redox bandgap between their oxidation and reduction processes.
