FROG Characterisation of SOA-based wavelength conversion using XPM in conjunction with shifted filtering up to line rates of 80 GHz

Résumé

The authors characterise a SOA-based shifted bandpass filtering wavelength conversion scheme at different line rates using a Frequency Resolved Optical Gating measurement scheme, to investigate the gain and phase dynamics that lead to patterning effects.
