Hybrid control methods for a Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC)

Résumé

This paper proposes two synthesis methods for controlling power converters. The first one is a stabilizing method in which a unique Lyapunov function is introduced and the second one is a new predictive control approach, which uses model predictive control to track a given optimal stable limit cycle. Moreover, the two methods can include the discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) in the formulation. The control laws are exemplified with a Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC) in simulation.
