Morphologies and radiative properties of soot particles issued from partial oxidation combustions
Résumé
The morphologies of hydrocarbon soot aggregates are investigated by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) coupled to a tomographic reconstruction technique. These precise morphologies are then fed into an in-house DDA (Discrete Dipole Approximation) calculation tool which allows the computation of the radiative properties of these complex-shaped aggregates.
